And later folk thought the business of protecting 3.5 floppies from magnets alone was too much hassle. The old ones were susceptible to just about everything. And they held very little. But then I also remember the cool factor when DSDD floppies came out and how great the HD 1.4 MB disks were. Having a color-coordinated stack of double-drawer floppy file cabinets was the sure sign of a genuine guru.
